A few minutes later, War Yin arrived in a hurry.
“Tong Tong.”
He only had eyes for Hai Tong, not noticing Jun Ran who was sitting next to him chatting with Shang Xiaofei.
War Yin walked quickly to Hai Tong’s heels, first glancing at the medicinal solution, then squatting down and gently holding up Hai Tong’s injured finger, asking heartily, “Does it hurt?”
“You’ll know if it hurts when you try it.”
War Yin blamed himself and said, “Tong Tong, I’m sorry, it was my fault again.”
After pursing her lips, Hai Tong said, “It has nothing to do with you, I hurt it by myself accidentally.”
When she looked up at her, she met his eyes for a moment and then looked away.
War Yin’s heart ached.
He stood up, and after a long time, said, “The medicine is finished, I’ll send you home, you rest well, don’t touch cold water for a few days, lest the wound become inflamed.” One second to remember
“You are busy with work, there is no need to send me, Xiaofei will send me.”
It was Saturday and their company was working overtime all over, so it was evident that it was really busy.
War Yin glared at her.
Jun Ran and Shang Xiaofei who were watching from the side, you looked at me, I looked at you.
Jun Ran coughed lightly twice.
Only then did War Yin’s attention look at Jun Ran.
“Fifth young master, why are you here?”
Jun Ran laughed to himself, “I’m sitting here as such a big person, Mr. War has been here for several minutes and hasn’t seen me, it seems I have the ability of an invisible person.”
“Fifth youngster, what’s wrong?” Being sarcastic by Jun Ran, War Yin didn’t take it to heart, when he came in, his eyes were only on Hai Tong, not noticing anyone else.
He also could not have imagined that Jun Ran would be here.
“I don’t know what’s wrong, I got acute gastroenteritis, I just couldn’t hold on and came to the hospital.”
War Yin swept a glance at Shang Xiaofei.
There was an illusion that Shang Xiaofei and Jun Ran were a good match.
“Tong Tong’s medicine infusion is finished, call the nurse to come and help her remove the needle.” When Shang Xiaofei saw that the medicine infusion was finished, she instructed War Yin to call the nurse.
War Yin did not like the way Shang Xiaofei spoke to him in a commanding tone, but had to endure it as he went and called the nurse over.
After the nurse pulled out the needle for Hai Tong, War Yin instinctively wanted to press the needle for Hai Tong, but Shang Xiaofei moved faster than him and pressed the needle for Hai Tong first, and said in a warm voice, “Tong Tong, you have to press it for a few minutes before it won’t bleed.”
War Yin could not snatch Shang Xiaofei, mainly because, right now, he could not argue with Shang Xiaofei.
He asked with concern, “Did you get Tong Tong’s medicine?”
“Not yet, you go to the pharmacy and get it for her, there is no medicine for eating, it’s all topical medicine for the wound.”
The one who answered was naturally Shang Xiaofei.
War Yin pursed his lips and turned around to go to the pharmacy to get medicine for his wife and lord.
Just after he got the medicine, Shang Xiaofei came out with Hai Tong in tow.
“Tong Tong.”
War Yin walked over quickly, “Let me take you home, okay?”
He then said to Shang Xiaofei, “Miss Shang, thank you for today.”
Hai Tong did not want to come to the hospital, it was Shang Xiaofei who insisted on bringing Hai Tong over.
This was something that War Yin was grateful to Shang Xiaofei for.
Although, the couple’s relationship that had warmed up a bit had fallen back to square one because of Shang Xiaofei’s appearance, making War Yin very upset and even jealous of Shang Xiaofei, Shang Xiaofei’s concern for Hai Tong was something that could not be erased.
The two of them had been a bit warmed up because of the appearance of Shang Xiaofei, and then fell back to the original point.
She was Hai Tong’s own cousin! Hai Tong cared for her a lot.
When he thought of how Hai Tong cared about everyone, but not enough about him, his heart was sour again.
