War Yin tensed his face and did not speak.
Seeing him like this, Su Nan didn’t bother to persuade him any further and said suggestively, “Why don’t you stay in the company and I’ll go and spy for you, I think you need something to distract you now, and the conflict between you and your wife can’t be resolved in a day or two.”
“It’s no use you being anxious, the more anxious you are, the more likely you are to make mistakes.”
War Yin did need to do something to distract himself now, he said a little breathlessly, “You want to skip work just say so, don’t fight under the banner of spying for me.”
Su Nan laughed heatedly, “I’ve been working for you for so many years, it’s time to let me rest for two days.”
He and Shen Xiaojun were still in the same place.
It was possible that because of War Yin and Hai Tong, Su Nan felt that Shen Xiaojun had been watching, very attracted to him, yet dead set on controlling her heart, not daring to develop love for him.

Su Nan first went to the florist and bought a bouquet of flowers, then went to the cake spot and bought Xiaojun some of her favourite snacks, and headed to the bookstore with the bouquet and the snacks.
After Shang Xiaofei sent Hai Tong to the hospital to have her wounds bandaged, Shen Xiaojun stayed in the shop and watched, first cleaning up the blood on the table and then sitting in the cashier to read a novel.
“So idle?”
A familiar, gentle voice rang out.
Shen Xiaojun looked up and saw that it was Su Nan, she put down the book in her hand and smiled, “What brings you here? No programme today?”
“The New Year has just passed, there was too much work backlogged from the year before that hadn’t been dealt with, so I worked overtime today and won’t be able to rest until tomorrow.”
Shen Xiaojun let out an oh, “I thought you guys could have a double break every week.”
“Usually you can have a double break, unless it’s like now where everyone has a lot of work on their hands and they work on Saturday and only rest on Sunday.”
Su Nan handed the bouquet to Shen Xiaojun and saw that a bouquet of flowers was also placed on the computer at one side, and he looked at it twice.
“This is from Mr. War to Hai Tong.”
Shen Xiaojun explained, took the bouquet from Su Nan’s hand, came closer to smell the flowers, then got up, walked to a bookshelf, took down the empty vase that was placed on the top surface of the bookshelf, inserted the bouquet into the vase before placing it back in its original place.
“I bought you a few boxes of your favourite snacks.”
Su Nan placed the bought snacks on the table top, he sat himself down, and when he looked down, he caught sight of the many bloody tissues thrown in the bin placed under the table.
He immediately looked at Shen Xiaojun and seeing that she was not injured, he asked with concern, “What’s wrong with so many bloody tissues in this bin? Is it blood or paint?”
“Tong Tong’s blood.”
Su Nan stared and asked, “Hai Tong Tong is injured?”
It shouldn’t have been done by War Yin, right?
“Cut her fingertip with scissors, the wound should be deep, she treated the wound herself and the bleeding didn’t even stop, but refused to let us see her wound, now she’s being dragged by Xiaofei to the hospital to re-bandage it.”
There was no need to ask to know that it was affected by War Yin.
“With so much blood flowing, just look at the paper towels in this bin and you can tell she has deep wounds.”
Su Nan took out his phone to take a picture to show his boss who was fidgety.
Shen Xiaojun watched him take pictures and did not stop.
