Hai Ling couldn’t believe that Mrs. Lu would casually wander into the vicinity of her rented apartment.
Mrs. Lu must have come here specifically to find her.

Lu Dongming already knew that it was his mother calling.
It was bound to be no good for his mother to ask Hai Ling to meet him.

He now always had to use Yang Yang as an excuse to successfully stay by Hai Ling’s side and talk.
In the past, when he hadn’t confessed to Hai Ling yet, Hai Ling was a little bit better to him.
Since Hai Ling knew that he liked her, on the surface, Hai Ling was still the same to him, but in reality, Lu Dong Ming could feel it, Hai Ling was much colder to him.
