Mr. Ning was looking at him like he was on pins and needles.
“Mr. Ning just came over to make amends, right?” Expecting his elder brother to say a few more words that was impossible, War Yichen took the initiative to break the brief interval of silence in the office.
Chief Ning was busy nodding his head.
“My sister-in-law is generous and usually doesn’t take too much into account, but my sister-in-law is a person who values friendship.”
Chief Ning piled on a smile and said, “I’ve heard that the First Young Grandmother is a person of great affection and righteousness.”
“It’s good that Mr. Ning has heard about it, if there is nothing else, Mr. Ning please go back.”

They, the War’s, had no business with Ning either.
Chief Ning had wanted to leave long ago and was embarrassed, God knows how fidgety he was when being watched by War Yin.

War Yin looked at him without saying anything.

War Yin smiled.
“Big brother purposely called me up to listen to all that gossip, what do you want me to do?”
“Take care of your own woman, don’t let my wife go to your aid.”
“Big brother, it’s been said, Ning Yunchu is not my wife! Grandma chose it for me, do I have to marry it?”
War Yin said in the tone of a man who has come over, “Yichen, don’t say some things too early, when you get hit in the face, your face will hurt very, very much, your big brother and I are people who have come over.”
He was the one who often hit his face and lifted stones to smash his own feet.
