I went downstairs with Yue Man Gong before the she-wolves were about to surround me.

I pulled Moon Man Bow down at the bar first and the pretty girl bartending at the bar lifted her eyes to stare at me and smile.
“You’re the first customer to come in on crutches since this shop opened. Let me buy you a drink with this handsome man beside you.”
She finished polishing her glass and pushed two drinks over.
I didn’t know much about wine either, the rich had so much fun, and I’d only just barely been introduced to fancy cars and watches in the six months I’d been back.
Moon Fullbow, a little ahead of me, took the glass and took a sip: “Scotch, tastes good.”

He drew out a couple of tickets and slapped them on the table.

Panicked, she fished a table knife from under the bar and pointed it at us.
I looked helplessly at each other and Moon Man Bow, who was to blame for not being pedantic at all and scaring people off.
But now it was too late to regret, so we had to find a way to salvage it.
Seeing that not many people had noticed us here yet, I said, “Pretty girl, listen to me, one good word back.”
“I’m not listening, are you guys going to leave? I’m calling someone.”

I whispered, “Don’t you shout, ask you something.”
“Brother, don’t ask me about Huang Wen, I don’t dare say anything.”
The more she did, the less likely I was not to ask.
“What’s wrong with her?” I asked.
“She… She died.”
Moon Fullbow and I were surprised and looked at each other for a moment, but at the same time there was a sense of not being surprised.
This was all the more reason why Zheng Peng was a problem again as a person, perhaps because Huang Wen knew something she shouldn’t.
“Who killed her?” I asked.
