Wealthy Chapter 432

“Sango!”

“It’s me.”

He dumped his phone like he’d seen a ghost and just about ran wildly in place, and after a moment when he picked it up and tried to turn it off and run, I yelled, “Run, don’t flounder there, and don’t contact your Sango.”

“What do you mean, how do you know I’ve been on the phone with Sango, crap, you bugged my phone.”

I was sweating in my anxiety and tried to steady myself by saying, “Listen to me carefully and come back now or you will probably die.”

“Oh, Zhang Chao you really take me for a fool? Will I not die if I stay with you? I will still die as usual. As the saying goes, if you resist, you go home for the New Year, if you confess, you go to jail, goodbye Zhang Chao, you won’t even be able to see me again.”

After saying that, Arashi cut the phone off, he probably thought that as long as that was the way I was being watched, he must have thought that I had just bugged his phone.

I could have also monitored all the nearby cameras through the computer, but there was no need to do that because Arashi just stood there and refused to leave, not moving a muscle, waiting for Sango’s men to come and pick him up.

It was certain that San was awake and he seemed to have expected us to follow Arashi, otherwise he wouldn’t have asked Arashi to go buy lobster in the middle of the night and asked him to wait where he was.

He was just stalling for time, trying to make sure we couldn’t follow Arashi and take advantage of the chaos to feel our way to his house.

“Fox, how long are your people going to be?”

“Half a minute.” The fox said.

“Faster, the dot must be awake here, I need to hurry.”

“Yes!”

In contrast to my anxiety, Arashi was relaxed beyond belief, wandering down the road with a crayfish in his hand.

At this time of year, there really wasn’t much of a crowd left in Tong, the streets weren’t crowded at night and it was pitch black everywhere.

The place where Arashi was standing was already downtown, and occasionally a few people pa*sed him by.

I was panicking and just praying that the fox would get there soon, it was only a matter of a few dozen seconds.

Just then, the fox’s car appeared in one of the security cameras, seemingly only a dozen metres away from Arashi, who hadn’t noticed that the car was approaching him.

At the same time, Arashi seemed to see something and waved his hand and took two steps forward, presumably to pick up his car.

I shouted, “Fox, don’t let him get away with it.”

“Okay.”

Fox gave a command and the tyres of the car he was driving rubbed fiercely on the ground, pulling out an ear-piercing cackle as the rear of his car swung violently between the yellow Porsche and Arashi.

Arashi froze, and so did the Porsche.

“Don’t move.”

Fox was busy jumping out of the car, drawing his gun and pointing it at the face of the man in the Porsche.

But the man in the Porsche, with his mask and hat on, could not see his face in any way.

In the moment when Fox was dazed, the whole Porsche suddenly accelerated and rammed towards Arashi.

Not only did the fox not react properly, neither did I, and even less did Arashi.

Arashi’s whole body was like a weightless doll, being hit and spun around in the air for a few topics before falling down on all fours.

It was not a light blow, and Arashi collapsed on the spot in a pool of blood. Several onlookers screamed and dodged as the fox rushed up and shielded Arashi.

“After him, don’t let him get away!”

Fox let out a heartbreaking roar and all the Snow Leopards struck in a second, all chasing towards the car that had hit the man.

Arashi lay alone in a pool of blood, twitching, he had been unstoppable a moment ago, but now he was pathetic.

Arashi could not believe that he would be hit by a car, and with dark eyes he asked, “Why, to clean me up.”

I got through to him, and by this time Arashi had only a little strength left to lift the phone.

“Do you have something to say to me?” I asked, “Just hang on a little longer, my comrades will be here soon, but they will get you out when they do.”

Arashi was breathing far less in than out, and looked close to dying.

Arashi seemed to have given up and said breathlessly, “Third Brother, I won’t tell anyone, why do you want my life?”

I said over the phone, “Because you are exposed and this company helps to allow any element of risk to exist. You treat the company like an extended family, and in the company’s eyes, you’re just a small, insignificant screw-up.”

“Don’t you say it.” Arashi sadly looked away and said, “I came into the company a few years ago and I’m grateful for the opportunity it gave me, otherwise I’d still be a loser with nothing.”

Arashi’s will to live was very weak, he had lost too much blood and it would not be long before he would probably not be able to support himself.

“Fox! Hurry up and get Arashi up.”

I shouted, hating myself straight away for not being there.

The fox’s car made a 180 degree turn and the Porsche turned around at that moment, like a tiger rushing at the fox’s car with its headlights on.

The headlights of the two cars were pointed at each other, and Arashi was lying right in the middle.

I threw down my phone, opened the door and rushed out.

The motors of both cars were roaring, both waiting for the other to back off. Arashi in the middle was almost glowing from the headlights on either side, and the blood was still gurgling underneath him.

The fox gritted his teeth, now he was throwing in the towel, if he charged up, the other would surely do the same, there was a chance they would crash into each other and wreck the car, or the other would admit defeat first, but as soon as they charged each other, Arashi in the middle would surely be crushed to death.

But if he did not take any action, Arashi would certainly die too.

With the throttle pushed to the floor and the motor giving a beastly low roar, the fox still couldn’t make up his mind to let go of the throttle, and the other man was thinking the same thing, and he was afraid that the fox would fight him so that both would be car wrecked.

Suddenly, the fox let go of the accelerator first and the car surged up like an arrow from a string.

In the blink of an eye, the two cars were about to collide. At this speed, these two people would definitely not survive the collision, nor would Arashi.

He must be afraid of death, he definitely wouldn’t dare to crash into it! The fox thought to himself.

The lights flashed across the front windows of both cars at the same time, and for a split second, both Fox and the driver in that car saw each other’s faces clearly, and in the eyes of both men, the other was as desperate for his life.

It all depends on whose heart is more ruthless!

LOL! —

The moment it was about to touch, the Porsche gave up and slammed on the brakes, the car did an arcing drift across the ground and the fox breathed a sigh of relief as the front of the car came to a halt almost against Arashi’s head.

He jumped out of the car and rushed down with his gun.

“How are you?”

It was a waste of time to ask; Arashi’s head was flattened in a piece, a huge bloody hole in his chest, and two white ribs pierced through the hole.

It was a miracle that he hadn’t died at this level.

“Hang on a little longer.” The fox picked Arashi up on his back, his eyes already lax, only to feel himself being lifted up on the back of a man who then suddenly dropped him again, and they both rolled several times on the ground at the same time.

A series of bullets were fired against the fox’s head, and if the fox hadn’t been so experienced and quick to react, he might have been killed this time.

Who is it?

The sniper’s instincts made him look immediately in the direction of the shooting, only to see a man in a cloak hiding behind a light box in the distance, the man was holding a pistol, it was this man who had just fired the shot.

The man also knew he had been spotted and didn’t even hide anymore, saying to the fox from a distance, “We’ll let you go, but we’ll have to clean up this traitor.”

The fox said fiercely, “Think again.”

As he spoke, he had taken out the gun on his back and aimed it at the man who had spoken.

But as soon as he raised the gun, he saw the man’s gun aimed at him through the scope!
