My eyes were red, I let out a low growl, swung a stool and smashed it towards where he was talking.
Jiang Ming grunted and went limp on the ground, not moving.
Fox and I ran up and fumbled with the safe, ignoring the alarm bells. But the security state adds two extra layers of locks to the safe, and we were running out of time to unlock this one.
“sh*t!” I kicked the couch.
“Captain, let’s go first today, security is coming. We’ll be in trouble if we get caught.” Fox said.
“That’ll have to do.” I said, if I hadn’t jumped to Su Xiaoqiang’s rescue, I would have gotten the diary today. But it couldn’t be helped, I couldn’t just stand by and watch Jiang Ming kill people.
Fox and I were about to flip out the window when Su Xiaoqiang suddenly said, “Wait.”
