The Policewoman Chapter 179

Lin Kai asked loudly, “Tell me, where are you?”

“You think I’m so stupid as to tell you this place?” Scarface said, “If you have the guts, go to the bronze statue of Liberty and someone will bring you here.”

“Alright then, I’ll go there right away!” Lin Kai said briskly.

If Lin Kai called the police, these guys would definitely tear up the ticket, and the only way to save Tang Huimin’s life was to go there single-handedly.

“Lin Kai, leave me alone, don’t come over!” Tang Huimin said, and when Scarface wasn’t looking, she pressed the tracker button that she had sewn into her clothes.

On this tracker on Lin Kai’s body, it immediately showed the location of where they were.

Just as he was about to speak, the other party had already hung up the phone.

After putting down the phone, Liu Tongshu looked at Lin Kai with a stunned expression and asked, “Did something happen?”

“Tang Huimin has been kidnapped!” Lin Kai answered truthfully.

“Then what do you think I should do?” Liu Tongshu felt a little scared as she remembered the incident where she and Lin Kai were in danger on the street.

“They probably don’t know where you live yet, or else you would be dead right now,” Lin Kai said after thinking about it, “I can only ensure your safety after I save Tang Huimin from them first and take care of Scarface and the others.”

“Then what do you think I should do?” Liu Tongshu was clueless.

“It’s safest for you to stay at home now.” Lin Kai admonished, “After I leave, lock the door of your room behind you, and don’t open the door for anyone who calls!”

“Okay, I’ll listen to you, I’ll stay at home,” Liu Tongshu reminded Lin Kai, “These guys are ruthless, you have to be safe.”

“You also know that it’s dangerous outside, there are killers after us everywhere, you’d better stay honestly at home, don’t go anywhere!”

Lin Kai was now so intent on saving Tang Huimin that he was in no mood to try to figure out Liu Tongshu’s mind, and with a word of advice to Liu Tongshu, he left her rented house.

He knew that there was a tiger on the mountain, but he was willing to walk towards it.

This is Lin Kai’s unconquerable character and his virtue of being a hero and sacrificing himself to save others. Of course, Lin Kai is not a good person and is a master who does not do business at a loss.

After leaving Liu Tongshu’s rented house, Lin Kai stopped a taxi on the street and took it to the Bronze Statue of Liberty in Rio City.

This was an important tourist attraction in the Japanese country, and there were more tourists coming and going.

The reason why Scarface asked him to go there was that, on the one hand, the place was easier to find, and on the other hand, if Lin Kai were to call the police and they were in danger, they could use the crowded place to create confusion and escape.

However, as soon as the taxi started, Lin Kai noticed that a van was following behind him.

“Could it be that Liu Tongshu’s place has been stalked? No good, Liu Tong Shu is in danger!” Lin Kai’s heart tightened and he immediately asked the driver to pull over to the side of the road.

Just as he was about to get out of the car, Lin Kai saw a head sticking out of the van and gestured a safety gesture towards Lin Kai with his hand, followed by a knowing smile.

“What are they doing here?” Through the van’s gla*s window, he could still see a few men in black sitting inside, and Lin Kai muttered straight in his heart, “Could they have been secretly protecting me all along?”

Thinking of this, Lin Kai stopped worrying about Liu Tongshu’s safety for the time being, and also gained some confidence in rescuing Tang Huimin, so he asked the driver to restart the car and continue driving towards the Bronze Statue of Liberty.

“Sir, are you a Chinese or a Japanese?” The taxi driver, an obese man, asked in an authentic Japanese colloquial language.

“I am a Chinese national!” Lin Kai replied in fluent English.

“Sir, this is your first time in Rio, right?” The driver immediately asked in a not-so-fluent Chinese; this guy knew Chinese, and it seemed that the language of this great nation of China was already on par with international standards.

“Yes.” Lin Kai nodded his head.

“Welcome to the beautiful city of Rio, it’s a civilised city and a free country, I hope you have a good time.” The driver’s enthusiasm was evident.

“Thanks!”

As he was on a mission, he didn’t have the heart to make small talk with the driver.

When the driver saw that Lin Kai was not interested in talking, he stopped squealing, and concentrated on driving along the busy street, and in no time, he drove him to the Bronze Statue of Liberty.

Lin Kai paid for the ride and got out according to the amount shown on the meter.

Looking around, he saw the van that had followed him parked not far from him, so he pretended as if nothing had happened and stood looking through the crowd.

Suddenly, several blond men closed in on Lin Kai and surrounded him.

Obama walked up to Lin Kai, made a gentlemanly face and said in a broken Chinese language.

“Mr. Lin, we meet again.”

“Yes.” Lin Kai nodded and said, “I didn’t expect that, but it’s really a bad match.”

“Yes, yes,” Obama nodded his head repeatedly and said, “Our boss wants to see you.”

“Sure, where is he?” Lin Kai eyed his surroundings warily, afraid they might make a move on him here.

“Don’t worry, sir, we’ll get you there safely.” Obama said with a smile.

“Alright then, I’ll go with you guys!” Lin Kai said indifferently, since they were so sincere in their invitation, he would not be polite.

Several people froze when they heard Lin Kai’s words, these people originally thought that coming to invite Lin Kai would be a difficult thing to do.

Because, on the plane to the Japanese country, Obama had learned his skills, got off the plane and escaped under the noses of several of them, knowing that he was a difficult opponent and that they had to be careful with him, but they did not expect him to be so cooperative.

They invited Lin Kai in beside a van parked to the side.

“Sir, please get in!” Obama made a gesture of invitation to Lin Kai.

Lin Kai glanced in the direction of the van parked a short distance away and followed them into the vehicle without hesitation.

Closing the door, the driver quickly started the car and left.

These men had secretly investigated that Lin Kai had not been in contact with the outside world at all during his two days in Rio and could not have had any helpers, so they did not notice the van that was following closely behind them.

Lin Kai looked around the van and saw that in addition to the driver, there were six tall men surrounding him in the middle row of seats.

Looking at their fierce and fierce appearance, as well as their occasional flashes of teasing and vicious eyes, one could tell at a glance that they were not good people.

Just now, Lin Kai and Liu Tongshu had encountered the gunmen chasing them on the street, but fortunately he was quick enough to subdue them and get rid of the gang.

These men had knives and guns in their hands, but Lin Kai, who was sitting in the middle of them, did not look the least bit worried and had a calm look on his face.

He looked relaxed and even had a faint smile on his face. Moreover, Lin Kai opened the car window as if no one was watching, looking very relaxed.

The people next to him were, in Lin Kai’s eyes, at best just a few hooligans on the streets of Rio, and posed no threat to him at all.

After driving for a few blocks, Lin Kai looked a little impatient and asked in fluent English, “Gentlemen, how much longer do we have to get there?”
