The empty lobby was lit up as brightly as day, filled with people carrying suitcases, preparing to leave Yanjing on a plane or dropping off a flight.
When Lin Kai stepped on the marble floor, holding a fake pa*sport under the alias “Wang Qiang” and a ticket to the Japanese invasion country, and queued up to change his registration card at the operations desk, a staff member sitting in front of the computer looked at him carefully, and he was nervous that she would recognise him.
