Silly Teen Chapter 45-46

Chapter 45

I didn’t know if Uncle Chen could tell that I was lying or not.

He was a police officer and had raised me since I was a child, so he naturally knew me very well. I was not good at lying, so I was really afraid that Uncle Chen would see the flaw in my face. I didn’t want Uncle Chen to know that my engagement with Xu Ying was similar in nature to my previous job as a publicist at 1908!

Uncle Chen stared at me.

My persistent denial also left him no choice. He sighed and told me that if Xu Ying said any conditions, I should tell him.

And to this, I was agreeing.

When I went to school early the next morning, Guan Dongxuan had already taken a leave of absence. Originally, it would have been fine to talk to the cla*s president about such a thing as a leave of absence. But Ms. Lin had to announce the news in public during the morning reading. As she said this, she cast her eyes on me.

The look in her eyes clearly meant to ask me if I had forced Guan Dongxuan to take a leave of absence!

I felt the look in Ms. Lin’s eyes, and my heart was getting harder and harder. I knew that Ms. Lin’s attitude towards me was only getting worse and worse. I had missed cla*s all afternoon yesterday, and she didn’t even bother to talk to me!

“Jin Chao, what have you been thinking about all morning? Listen properly to cla*s!” Guo Xuefu was pa*sing me a note. As I looked at the note, I looked in her direction and was met with her very serious eyes.

I was a bit amused and I replied back on the note, “Who told you I wasn’t listening?”

She then pa*sed on another note: “Who needs to tell me? I noticed it myself, of course! And why did you miss cla*s yesterday afternoon?”

“I just had a family problem yesterday afternoon! It wasn’t a truancy, was it? I said with a deliberate exclamation point for emphasis, with an air of confidence. But if I were to say that to her face, I’m sure I’d be a bit vain.

“Really? I’m a person who is casually more deceitful, but don’t lie to me either!” Guo Xuefu’s tone was tinged with playfulness.

“Of course it’s true.”

I responded to her.

It was only with her reminder that I was able to focus on the blackboard and concentrate on the lesson. I already had the basics, and with Guo Xuefu tutoring me after cla*s, in a little while I would be able to catch up with my current cla*s. I am not like other people, I can concentrate quite well whenever I want to do it.

This is also due to the environment I grew up in. Without friends I had to be focused on my studies. Over time, this also developed into a habit.

“Jinchao, let’s have lunch together at noon. My parents happen to be on a business trip.” Guo Xuefu then said as she walked up beside me.

“That’s fine.” I agreed.

But at this time, Xu Dazhi came up to me, “Brother Chao, are you free at noon? Let’s have a meal together!”

“I’ve promised Xue Fu.”

I then explained to Xu Dazhi.

As soon as Xu Dazhi heard that, he looked at me with a bad smile, “Ya, Brother Chao. Since you and your sister-in-law have made a date, then you guys go ahead and eat. Little one excuses himself!”

“Xu Dazhi, f*ck you. What sister-in-law? It’s unpleasant to hear!” Guo Xuefu snapped, and her face flushed.

“Haha, sister-in-law is blushing.”

Xu Dazhi was still laughing in a good way.

“Xu Dazhi, are you looking for a punch?”

I scolded with a laugh.

“Fine, fine, I won’t say anymore, I’ll leave first.” Xu Dazhi said and was about to run away. But Guo Xuefu, who was listening to his words, blushed and walked away straight away. I hurriedly followed behind her and left right along with her. It was before we left that Xu Dazhi was even winked at me.

I felt Xu Dazhi’s wink and rolled my eyes even more speechlessly.

After Guo Xuefu and I walked out of the school, I asked her where she wanted to eat. She then took me to a fast food restaurant by the school and ordered a few random dishes.

“By the way Jin Chao, how come you and Xu Dazhi have become so close?” Guo Xuefu asked me in a very puzzled manner.

“He’s the one who took the initiative to approach me.”

I explained to her.

I didn’t hold back much in this matter.

I also told Guo Xu Xuefu directly about my impression of Xu Dazhi, and even Guo Xiaoming and Zhao Yangbo in the year section as well. The change in everyone’s attitude towards me was more on Cao Ge’s part. And this relationship also struck me as very unreliable.

“So what do you think about these people?” Guo Xuefu then asked at me.

I said thoughtfully, “I don’t want to have too deep a contact with these people, either. But at this stage, if these people are around me, at least I can be a*sured that no one will hit on me. I can also settle down to study.”

Guo Xuefu listened to my words and said with a serious nod at me, “Then you must be careful! I don’t want to see you turn into the same person as Guan Dongxuan and the others.”

“Haha, you can rest a*sured of that.”

I said with a smile and her a*surance.

“Hmph, if you dare to turn out to be like them, you’re dead!” Guo Xuefu pouted and squeezed her pink fist, then gave a threatening cry at me.

I couldn’t help but laugh out loud at her words, “You’re even threatening me?”

“Can’t I?”

She asked in return.

“Yes, yes, yes!” I affirmed breathlessly. After we finished eating, I took the thousand yuan Xu Ying had given me last time and came out to settle the bill. She wanted to give me the money, but I insisted that I didn’t want it. She couldn’t pa*s me, so she had no choice but to agree.

She said to me that she wanted to go home for a lunch break first and asked if I wanted to come along.

I listened to her and froze for a moment.

I hurriedly said no, and she looked at me and couldn’t help but laugh. She then told me that that was all she was saying. She didn’t really want me to go to her house with her. After all, it wasn’t very nice for us to stay alone together.

It was her saying that that was what relieved me this time.

It was after she left that Xu Dazhi suddenly jumped out.

“Chao, why don’t you go with your sister-in-law?” Xu Dazhi then asked at me.

“Xu Dazhi, what are you talking about? There’s nothing between me and Xue Fu!” I hurriedly explained to Xu Dazhi.

But Xu Dazhi had a bad smile on his face, “Brother Chao, don’t say anything, I understand, I understand!”

“What the hell do you understand?”

I said, giving him a blank look.

“Okay, okay, Chao, I won’t get involved in what’s going on between you and your sister-in-law. Bo and the others have already taken up a place for us at the internet cafe, and Cao and the others are there too, so let’s go there together.” Xu Dazhi then said to me.

“Well, first of all, just go over there and play for an hour, you’ll still have to come back to cla*s then!” I said seriously.

“No problem!”

Xu Dazhi agreed to do the same.

But that’s when we got on the machine and were about to start jerking off when suddenly a cop came in ……

Chapter 46

I saw the police appear at the door and was frozen raw. Subconsciously, I wanted to get up and run. After all, I was still wearing my school uniform and was still a minor. If I was caught online, I would be taken away directly to the police station and have my parents come and collect me!

The consequences of this are naturally clear to me.

“Chao, why are you so nervous all of a sudden?” Xu Dazhi, who was beside me, then asked at me.

“The police are here! Didn’t you all see it?” I said even more anxiously. I hurriedly tried to get out of my position, catty-cornered, and left the place through the back door.

But Xu Dazhi was looking at me with some amus*ment, “It’s okay Chao. If there was really a temporary inspection, the webmaster would have told us for sure. After all, which owner of an internet cafe in Xuancheng’s territory doesn’t have a background in the bureau!”

“Is it really all right?”

I said, still very worried.

“Really!” Xu Dazhi and I a*sured.

As I listened to him, even Cao Ge, who was beside me, stood up to me and told me that it was fine and that I should sit down and continue playing. I wasn’t sure about this set of rules for internet cafes, but I could see that the whole cafe was full of students who were surfing the internet and basically didn’t move, so it didn’t seem to make much sense for me to run alone.

And the police got to the front desk and talked to the internet manager, was staying there for quite some time, and seemed to be investigating something.

I saw that the police did not care about these students who were surfing the Internet in the Internet cafe, and also after the end of a plate, I dared to go to the front desk to see what was going on.

The police officers, who were not from my uncle’s office, I had never seen before. It was after I walked in, but I saw a set of photos in their hands. The person on it, however, made me freeze for a moment.

How could this be Guan Dongxuan?

What were these cops looking for Guan Dongxuan for?

“Wait, that’s him!”

The webmaster suddenly pointed at mine and said.

I was taken aback by his action and I subconsciously tried to hurry away. But the policeman, who was on the side, was also the first to stop me.

“Did you see this man in the photo yesterday?” One of the policemen showed the photo to me.

I nodded in the affirmative: “I’ve seen him. …… What happened to him?”

“Disappeared. A witness said he was abducted.” The policeman then gave me an explanation.

“Huh? Kidnapped?”

I froze raw.

As I listened to his words, I suddenly remembered the look in Mr. Lin’s eyes in the morning and suddenly understood somewhat what Mr. Lin’s look meant even more. What I was wondering was, if Guan Dongxuan had been kidnapped, why didn’t the police go to our school to look for clues, instead of coming to a place like an internet cafe.

The police looked at my reaction and hurriedly asked me what happened last night. And I told them what happened last night without any reservation.

Because there was surveillance as evidence, it also proved that me, Cao Ge, Zhao Yangbo and the others, had a full alibi for the time when Guan Dongxuan was kidnapped.

“What’s wrong Brother Chao?” Xu Dazhi asked as he saw me being stopped by the police and came up afterwards.

“Guan Dongxuan has been kidnapped.”

I then gave an explanation to Xu Dazhi. Xu Dazhi also froze in his tracks after hearing my words. I’m afraid he too hadn’t expected anything like this to happen in any way. And at this stage, the police didn’t have many clues yet either; they still had to learn more through our accounts.

“And Guan Dongxuan was kidnapped?” Cao Ge, who had heard the news, also came over and asked, puzzled.

“Yeah, and it was last night, too. It was shortly after he and his cousin left here. The police said that his cousin was even hospitalised straight away by those robbers from last night.” I then gave an explanation to Cog. And in my mind, I was puzzled. I thought to myself, “Could this be the work of Guan Dongxuan’s enemies?

The matter between me and Guan Dongxuan was already considered to be basically settled. There was absolutely no need for Xu Ying to do this!

“That’s all we know. Sorry ah, can’t give you any favourable clues.” I said, looking apologetically at the policeman on the side.

“It’s okay, and we’d like to thank you for your cooperation.” That’s what the cop said.

“You guys are still high school students, so you have nothing to do with coming to places like internet cafes, okay?” The policeman on the side reminded in a very serious way.

“Got it.” I listened to his words and was nodded down in affirmation.

I watched the policeman’s departure and sat down on the stool in the internet cafe, no longer in the mood to play games. I spoke to Cao Ge and the others, and went to the toilet to call Xu Ying. With what had happened to Guan Dongxuan now, I was also afraid that what had happened in the hospital yesterday would be exposed as a result.

However, after Xu Ying heard my worries, she told me not to worry so much.

As for who had kidnapped Guan Dongxuan and what the purpose of this was, she did not know at the moment. But after all, it was none of my business, so she told me not to worry so much about it.

After we came out of the Internet cafe, I looked at the person who pa*sed in front of me and was really frozen. Looking at her, it was obvious that she had bought something in the area and was ready to go to school. She noticed mine too, and between turns of her head, it was to see me coming out of the internet cafe.

She had two cupcakes in her hand and was looking at me with a stony look in her eyes.

“Ya, isn’t this sister-in-law? Hello sister-in-law!” Xu Dazhi walked out behind me and greeted Guo Xuefu without taking it seriously.

But when Guo Xuefu heard this, she had a very angry look on her face and turned around and walked away straight away. She walked away very quickly. It was clear that when she had lunch with me at noon, she had just said something like that to me, warning me. But here we were, an hour or so later.

I was so embarra*sed.

I wanted to go after her, but that was when Cao Ge, who was beside me, gave me a sudden tug to stop me from going after her.

“Chao, come here with me for a moment.”

Cao Ge said to me in a very serious manner.

“What’s wrong Cao?”

I asked, looking at him in confusion.

The two of us were standing aside, and with a cigarette in his mouth, he looked at Guo Xue-fu’s back and just said to me, “Ah Chao, do you still remember when we first met, because of what?”

“Remember.” I nodded the affirmative down.

“Then do you remember what my men, who were under me, said at the time?” Cog then continued to ask me.

“What did they say and what does it have to do with it?” I froze for a moment, I could hear a few bad tones in his tone of voice.

“Of course it has something to do with it!”

Cao Ge nodded very seriously and solemnly and said, “Chao. If you are interested in this woman, I suggest that you, better give up on her and stay away from her. I’m very worried that if you continue to be close to this woman, you will be screwed by her one day!”
