Martial Boss Chapter 1017

“The outer path.” No Lai said in a cold voice.

“Evil sayings.” Heart’s Edge’s face shifted and appeared angry.

Nowadays, the foundation of the Buddhist sect lies in the word goodness. Whether this so-called goodness is true or not, the faithful really believe in this religion because of the Buddha’s compa*sion and goodness.

If they agreed with Qing Yu’s words, how would the Buddhist sect react if the words were to get out today?

Therefore, this statement must not be agreed to.

“What I have said is based on the Three Dharma Seals, so there is no such thing as an exotic heresy. If you refute this statement, you are the ones who are talking about external evil.” Qing Yu said indifferently.

The Three Dharma Seals are “The Seal of Impermanence of All Actions, the Seal of Non-Self of All Dharma, and the Seal of Nirvana Silence”. Anyone who conforms to these three principles is the Buddha’s righteous Dharma, just like the world’s seal of faith, which is used as proof, hence the name Dharma Seal.

It is like a seal, a token of the truth of the Buddha’s teachings. If a dharma is contrary to the three marks, it is incomprehensible even if it was spoken by the Buddha himself; if it conforms to the three marks, it can be regarded as the Buddha’s words, even if they were not spoken by the Buddha himself.

If it is consistent with the Three Noble Truths, even if it is not spoken by the Buddha himself, it can be regarded as Buddha’s words.

“If one says that the Buddha has said something, it is a slander against the Buddha.” Heart’s Edge returned.

This is from the Vajra Sutra, and the full statement is “Subhuti, do not say that the Buddha is saying this. I will say something, but do not think so. What is the reason? If one says that the Buddha has said something, he is slandering the Buddha. He cannot understand what I am saying.”

The general meaning is that you should not hang on to what I say, and if someone always says that Kṛṣṇa said such and such, then he is slandering the Buddha, because he does not understand what I am saying.

With these words, Heart’s Edge is attacking Qing Yu for using the Three Dharma Seals as the basis for his own sayings, and saying in return that Qing Yu slanders the Buddha.

“I have the Three Dharma Seals in my body, so how can I talk about not understanding what Kṛṣṇa says?”

The Buddha’s text on Qing Yu’s eyebrow lit up in response, and anyone who looked directly at his eyebrow could read the meaning of the righteousness of the Dharma from this text.

He was stating plainly that my forehead was stamped with an anti-counterfeiting label, and you are saying that I am slandering the Buddha?

I have to say that this Dharma seal is quite a good one. The monks near the Floating Pagoda had originally heard the debate between Qing Yu and Xin Yuan and Wu Lai, and were so angry that they wanted to kill this slanderer of the Buddha outright.

But when they saw the text of the Dharma Seal appearing on Qing Yu’s brow, some of them were shaken, their Buddhist hearts were shaking, and they were about to collapse.

The monks who could get close to the pontoon were at least at the True Dan realm. It was interesting that a martial artist of such a realm had his heart shaken by the sight of the three Dharma Seals and was on the verge of collapse.

Faith is something that, when firm, can make a believer never waver, and not even a great fright between life and death can break his devout heart.

But as long as the right method is found, then the more devout the believer is, the more fragile it is. Just like Qing Yu’s presenting the Three Dharma Seals, some Buddhist martial artists who only believe foolishly are unable to avoid the crisis of their hearts breaking even if they have practiced to the True Dan realm.

It can only be said that for martial artists, faith can do more harm than good.

With the Three Dharma Seals in their bodies, as long as they do not depart from the meaning of the Dharma Seals, then whatever Qing Yu says is Buddhist doctrine, equivalent to the words of the Buddha himself.

“Two Buddhists, what do you have to say in your defence?” Qing Yu asked in a light voice as he rose long and stood with his hands in the air.

“Do you know what the original meaning of my Zen sect is?”

Wu Lai did not say anything, but Xin Yuan suddenly changed the subject and said.

“To see the nature of the mind clearly.” Qing Yu said back.

How to say that they were also people who had absorbed a lot of Buddhist insights, although the source of these insights were not good people, but worthy of their status as high monks, they could be said to know all the essence of the Buddha’s teachings.

“To see clearly, one does not seek other Buddhas. My heart has its own Buddha, and the self-Buddha is the true Buddha; if one has no Buddha’s heart, where can one seek Buddha from.”

Heart’s Edge likewise stood up, “My Zen sect is a different tradition outside of teaching, pa*sing on the heart with the mind. If you want to use the Three Dharma Seals to bring karma out of my disciples, don’t even think about it.”

The Three Dharma Seals are certainly authoritative, but they also depend on who they are used against. For those who are foolish, it is naturally very good, but for the Zen masters who are truly clear-headed and see their true nature and who make it their daily practice to scold the Buddha and the ancestors, it is no better than bullSh*t.

“If you want to gain the Dharma insight, but do not be confused by others, kill every Buddha you see, kill every Luohan, kill every parent, kill every relative, and make you free from material servitude and free yourself.”

Heart’s edge of the hand cupped his fist, and the mighty Buddha’s might instantly blasted into the air, and the sky was filled with the colour of Buddha.

But to seek clarity of mind and nature, not to be bound by other things. Xin Yuan’s words were about breaking free from attachment and restraint, but the cold and stern look in his eyes made Qing Yu believe that if he really stood in his way, Xin Yuan could really kill Buddhas and ghosts, killing all those who stood in his way.

“Good awareness,” said Qing Yu, clapping his hands, “but your words and actions are also proof of the uselessness of Buddhism.”

“Universalizing the world and being compa*sionate are all empty words. You are all struggling in the sea of suffering, how can you talk about universalism. The root of Buddhism lies in emptiness, yet I feel that it is more than that.”

“Buddhism is all vain, compa*sion is empty words, universalism is too delusional. I have added the words false and great to the word emptiness. The Dharma of Buddhism is all about falsehood and emptiness. In the final analysis of Buddhism, only power can be called superior!”

Standing with his arms folded, a dharma image of the Buddha appeared behind him, containing golden light, confronting the Buddha of the Heart’s Edge, staining the sky with golden light.

In terms of Buddhist aura, Qing Yu’s Dharma form was no weaker than Xin Yuan’s, and the two of them competed to emit golden Buddhist light, causing the entire Da Chan Temple and even the mountains outside to be enveloped in Buddhist light, as if they had entered a Buddha’s kingdom.

“You have already entered the path of the devil, so let the poor monk turn you back to the right path.”

Xin Yuan shouted out his fist, and the infinite light was absorbed into his fist, and his fist struck out, shining in all ten directions of heaven and earth.

The Fist of Limitless Light, one of the great Zen Temple’s masterpieces, requires a heart of light in order to strike the Fist of Light. When Xin Yuan struck his fist, the light was so bright that it filled the sky and the earth.

But in the infinite light, golden Buddha light also shines, confronting the Light Fist without losing ground.

The Buddha’s Light first appeared.

Clear Feather was still standing with his hands in the air, but behind him, the Buddha’s Dharma form was reaching out with his palm, and the swastika seal in his palm was glowing with Buddha’s light, using light to control light.

The light from both sides clashed with each other, and the light shone brightly, and the blast was endless. If the aftermath of their attack were to leak out, more than half of the nearly 10,000 monks gathered in the dojo would die in an instant.

“Amitabha Buddha.”

Wu Lai sank his body and landed on top of the Floating Tower, raising his voice and shouting, “All monks, chant the sutra.”

The invisible mind instantly reflected into the hearts of the monks, and with this guidance, the monks all put aside their panic and chanted the sutra long and quietly, and the Sanskrit sound resounded again, revealing countless swastika inscriptions of all sizes.

This time, it was the unity of their hearts and qi, as nearly ten thousand monks chanted the sutra in unison, revealing their saintly appearance.
